Implementation objective
The ZUOK in Białystok is one of the first installations in Poland for the thermal conversion of waste into electricity and heat. It is a modern, constantly developing comprehensive waste management system that needed the support of a CMMS-class IT system.
The aim of the implementation was to support the digitization of maintenance processes
within a comprehensive waste management system. The system was to enable centralized management of information on the condition of installations and equipment, improve the planning and implementation of preventive and maintenance activities, and increase control over the continuity of the facility’s operation. The implementation of CMMS was also aimed at improving the transparency of technical documentation, ensuring consistent reporting and supporting the compliance of operational activities with environmental and formal requirements.
How did the CMMS system help?
The implemented system supports a wide range of processes in the customer’s company. After training, the employees of ZUOK in Białystok had no major problems getting used to working with the new program. An important aspect of its functioning is also an extensive system of roles and improvements. This makes it possible to adapt a wide range of available information to specific groups of employees.
,,Profesal met the needs of the Maintenance Department employees, who needed quick access to information about the service facility and its documentation. The solution was Maintenance Mobile, a mobile and simplified version of the system, providing immediate access to all the facilities needed at a given moment.”
Michał Witold Stefanowicz, CEO
An important aspect for the company was electronic access to numerous forms, which can be used to read or aggregate previously entered data. This contributed to an increase in the efficiency of maintenance services, primarily by minimizing the time spent on information flow.
